Missing Bad Reception vocalist Riley Carter posts alarming message online

Riley Carter, the missing vocalist of Bad Reception, posted a lengthy and disjointed message to her social media account while authorities and those close to her continue searching for her. The message contains fragmented references to blood, counting, ringing in her ears, a red cable and someone who is no longer present. Carter does not identify her location or indicate whether she is safe. The post is the first known public activity from Carter since she disappeared after Bad Reception’s Jan. 12 performance. Bad Reception said Carter has not contacted any member of the band directly. “It tells us she may have access to her account,” guitarist Evan Parker said. “It doesn’t tell us where she is, and it doesn’t tell us she’s OK.” Authorities have not said whether the account activity has produced any new leads. Carter remains missing. Anyone with direct information about her whereabouts is being asked to contact authorities.
